From Sicily to New York, Domenick and I brought authentic homemade Sicilian and Southern Italian recipes with us. After 25 years of restaurant business in New York, we went on a vacation to Arizona and fell in love. We moved and opened Basilico Italian Restaurant in Scottsdale. After finding Prescott, we decided it was our final destination in Arizona. The warm friendly town's folk reminded us of growing up in Sicily with a no pressure attitude. After New York and the Valley it was welcome. After 6 years serving Scottsdale we left many of our regulars sad but invited them to beat the heat and visit us in Prescott. The warm welcomes to town and the amount of gratitude for bringing real Italian food and New York Style Pizza to Prescott is overwhelming. I speak for my family in saying "Thank you Prescott for being who you are and welcoming us with so much love and gratitude". Our family increases with everyone that walks through our doors.
